Can we keep Varahi Amman picture at home?
These are the two questions that are highly discussed in Youtube these days. Some bloggers telling inspiring stories about Varahi Amman and on the other side, a few astrologers telling not to pray Varahi Amman and not to keep Varahi Amman Idol at home. I am no expert in giving you an answer to this question but I want to my thoughts on the same.
I started praying Varahi Amman after seeing Athma Gnana Maiyam’s video about this Goddess. Until then, I seriously had zero clue about this powerful Goddess. As suggested in that video, I started doing Varahi Amman Pooja by invoking her in the lamp. This was during the Covid time. Then, I got a framed picture of Varahi Amman from Flipkart and started praying. I loved doing Varahi pooja at my home and then went on to buy an idol of Varahi Amman. I was going through one of the most challenging times of my life and bringing her home was the best decision I made. Many decisions that I thought I will never take were taken with intuition and she has given me all the courage to face my life. Now, I have both varahi amman idol as well Varahi Pic at my home and Varahi Amman’s blesssings, all is well until now.
If you are still not convinced, then it is absolutely okay. You can just think of Varahi Amman soulfully in your heart and mind and visit her temples whenever possible.
