Varahi Gayatri Mantra with meaning

Varahi Amman is one of the seven Matrikas, or mother goddesses, in Hinduism. She is depicted as a boar-faced woman with eight arms, riding a lion or a boar. She is a fierce warrior who fights against evil. She holds chakra, conch, danda (staff of punishment), hala (plough), pestle and pasha (noose) in six hands. The two remaining hands being held in Abhaya and Vara Mudra (“blessing gesture”). She is a powerful goddess who is worshipped for her strength, courage, and protection. She is known to destroy the enemies and keep the worshipper safe from all sorts of negative energies like evil eye and black magic. I had earlier published one Varahi Gayatri Mantra. Recently, I came across one more gayatri mantra that was also suggested on the Athma Gnana Maiyam channel. Hence, I am sharing it here as well.

Meaning:
Om, Let me meditate on the goddess who has a buffalo flag,
Oh, Goddess who holds the stick give me higher intellect,
And let Goddess Varahi illuminate my mind

The auspicious days to do Varahi Pooja are Amavasya, Pournami, Ashtami, Panchami and all Fridays.

The best time to pray this powerful Goddess is between 8.00 PM and 10.00 PM.
