நெக்கு நெக்கு நினைபவர் நெஞ்சுளே
புக்கு நிற்கும் பொன்னார் சடை புண்ணியன்
பொக்கம் மிக்கவர் பூவும் நீரும் கண்டு
நக்கு நிற்பர் அவர் தம்மை நாணியே

நெக்கு means “நெகிழ்ச்சி”. In English, it can be said as a melting heart. So, here it means –
