தாழ்த்தச் சென்னியுந் தந்த தலைவனைச்

சூழ்த்த மாமலர் தூவித் துதியாதே

வீழ்த்த வாவினை யேன்நெடுங் காலமே.

வாழ்த்த வாயும் – Mouth to praise the glories of Lord Shiva

நினைக்க மடநெஞ்சும் – The heart that is filled with ignorance to think about Lord Shiva

தாழ்த்தச் சென்னியுந் – A forehead to bow in His holy feet

தந்த தலைவனைச் – The Leader who gave us the mouth, heart, and forehead

சூழ்த்த மாமலர் – The garland of flowers that is thronged by bees

தூவித் துதியாதே – The act of not worshiping Lord Shiva with flowers who gave us the body with mouth, heart, and head

வீழ்த்த வாவினை யேன்நெடுங் காலமே – வினை யேன் here means us, the people who have have made many wrong things.  நெடுங் காலமே  means long time. 

So, Thirunavukkarasar ends this passage on regretful note saying how he has wasted a long time in his life by not worshiping Lord Shiva, the One who gave his mouth to sing his glory, a heart to meditate on Him, and a head to remove all pride and to bow to His feet.
