I had earlier specified in my post on the day when Vaikasi Visakam falls and how to celebrate it. I too celebrated it in a very humble way and I am attaching a pic of how I celebrated it.
I had lit 6 ghee dhiyas.
Kept jasmine flowers that grew on my balcony for the Lord Murugan Picture
Offered a glass of milk with sugar added to it.
Lit a panchakavya vilakku.
Recited Kandha Sashti Kavacham and did karpoor arti and dhoop arti with the dhoop from panchakavya vilakku.
Ended the pooja by singing mangalam.
