கண்ணியது உன்புகழ் கற்பது உன் நாமம் கசிந்து பத்தி
பண்ணியது உன் இருபாதாம் புயத்தில் பகல் இரவா
நண்ணியது உன்னை நயந்தோர் அவையத்து; நான் முன்செய்த
புண்ணியம் ஏது என் அம்மே புவி ஏழையும் பூத்தவளே.
கசிந்து பத்தி பண்ணியது உன் இருபாதாம் புயத்தில் – I pray fervently and soulfully at your Holy lotus feets
பகல் இரவா நண்ணியது உன்னை நயந்தோர் அவையத்து – I am always glued day and night with Your Devotees
நான் முன்செய்த புண்ணியம் ஏது என் அம்மே – What is the good deed that I have done earlier that has made me revel in such outlandish experiences that are bestowed on me by the Goddess herself.
புவி ஏழையும் பூத்தவளே – Abirami bhattar questions “நான் முன்செய்த புண்ணியம் ஏது என் அம்மே” this to Abirami Amman who in this line is described as the Divine Mother who had created the seven worlds.
