Homestly, I am no expert. These mantra collection and the whole blog itself came as a result of the collection of mantras that i read during my pregnancies. But let me tell you, both my pregnancies were not so easy and the second one had lots of complications during second trimester. Have faith and trust God blindly. Period. These mantras and rituals are just ways to seek God's blessing. Just ensure, you take bath before saying these mantras.(My personal opinion) and keep chanting them as many as times as you can. While you eat, walk, cook… etc.
If you can, stick to veg food. It is even more important to stay healthy.
